Vermont Academy is a coeducational, college preparatory school in Saxtons River, Vermont, in the United States, serving students from 9th to 12th grade and postgraduates. Founded in 1876, Vermont Academy’s student body consists of boarding and day students from up to 30 states and 15 countries.  Vermont Academy was established in 1876, and it is positioned in Saxtons River, Vermont. The college is coeducational, and it has many students from various parts of the world.

The school has successfully instilled the concept of letting the students actively participate in class. This method of learning has proved to be better than passive learning. Learning in Vermont Academy is experimental, and the sports that the students participate in include biking, Nordic skiing, and cross country.

The school strives hard to create independent and confident students with an attention that is suitable for Vermont environment. Off campus activities that the students can participate in include snowboarding, rock-climbing, kayaking, camping, canoeing, and alpine skiing. Vermont provides theater productions, music, dance, film making, and photography courses. The buildings include a performing arts center, new library, dance studio, fitness center, wireless technology covering the whole campus, and an observatory that has a high-powered telescope. Separate dormitories are provided for boys and girls. Winter Snow Park is available on the campus for snowboarding, skiing, and jumping.
