Brush Creek Academy is designed to help boys grow spiritually, emotionally, academically, and vocationally. Students are mentored daily, participate in biblical counseling, complete group and personal studies, learn valuable vocational skills, and continue their education through our fully accredited, state-recognized private school.

Brush Creek Academy is part of Teen Challenge of Oklahoma.  At Teen Challenge, lives are not just changed—they are completely transformed. We believe no life is beyond hope, and no family beyond healing.

Recognized by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for outstanding success as a faith-based recovery program, Teen Challenge has been restoring lives for over 60 years. Billy Graham once called it “the most successful program for the treatment of drug addiction in America,” and President Ronald Reagan praised its reputation as “the most successful program of its kind.”

Family Restoration

At Brush Creek Academy, our mission goes beyond helping the boys entrusted to us—we are committed to restoring hope and healing within the entire family. While a student is enrolled here, we work intentionally to rebuild the home environment as well, knowing that true, lasting change happens when families heal together. Even as we hold teens accountable for their past choices and teach them personal responsibility, we also recognize how deeply the family dynamic shapes a young person’s heart and future.

We understand the exhaustion and heartbreak parents feel after trying everything to reach their struggling teen without success. That is why our family program is designed with care, compassion, and intentional support. Parents are coached, invited to study the same life-changing materials their sons are learning, and welcomed into regular conferences, one-on-one time with a parent advocate, and restorative phone calls.

Academics at Our Accredited Boarding School

The Cross Christian Academy is our own private school that BC students attend. When your son attends here, he will receive a high-quality education that holds the same accreditation as most local high schools. The school is accredited by COGNIA, as well as International Christian Accrediting Association and recognized as accredited by the Oklahoma State Department of Education. We are listed as a member of Oklahoma Private School Accrediting Commission. This ensures that the transfer of credits back to his public or private school is without question.

Unlike some programs that rely on “dual enrollment” with outside agencies for accreditation, our school has gone through the rigorous national accreditation process independently. schoolOur academic program is also intentionally designed to meet the individual needs of each student. With a purposely small student body—20 students or fewer—we focus exclusively on grades 7–12. Every boy has a personalized education plan that challenges him to complete the coursework necessary to get back on track, if needed. Students set daily academic goals, receive immediate feedback, and experience steady, measurable progress. Success often takes time, but for students who are willing to put forth the effort, Brush Creek Academy offers a clear, structured path toward academic achievement and renewed confidence.
