Andrews Osborne Academy (Ohio)
Founded in 2007 following the consolidation of two schools, Andrews Osborne Academy is located on a 200-acre campus just east of Cleveland, Ohio in the town of Willoughby. It’s a private, co-educational school that includes a K-12 day preparatory academy as well as a grades 7-12 boarding school.
The school is relatively small, with a student body comprised of about 350 students and a teacher-student ratio of 12-to-1. The curriculum is college prep-based, with 100% of the senior graduating class gaining acceptance to a 4-year college or university.
Andrews Osborne Academy is known in part for its impressive arts education program, including a new partnership with the Cleveland Ballet Youth Company and Orchestra. The school also has robust sports program. It recently announced a partnership with the residential sports academy the Spire Institute and it boasts a competitive Equestrian program that competes in the Interscholastic Equestrian Association.
The school requires all students to participate in a local community services program and complete a minimum of 16 hours a year of service.
