Master’s Ranch Christian Academy (Missouri)
The Master’s Ranch and Christian Academy is a residential boarding school designed just for at-risk and struggling boys between the ages of 12 and 17.
Boys at MRCA and their families find new help, healing, and reconciliation when they had almost lost hope. Our boarding school offers a small family environment in an agricultural setting with a balance of discipline and training in an unmistakable atmosphere of mentoring, love and acceptance. Through education, hard work, vocational training, working with animals, recreation, family interaction, and counseling, each boy is given the tools needed to regain the confidence, self-respect and spiritual footing necessary to embrace his family and his future.
The dedicated staff of Master’s Ranch is committed to helping you fight for your child’s future and to help him rebuild the smoldering bridges of relationships with family, society at large and ultimately with God. This critical time will also allow you to re-focus on your home and your other children while we work with and help your son. MRCA’s rates are affordable, so most families can be helped in their time of need.
At Master’s Ranch, we view education as a privilege. Boys rise to the occasion and make great progress academically through our computer-based, fully-accredited Christian curriculum. Boys also have numerous opportunities to acquire hands-on skills in a variety of trades, including agricultural, woodworking and carpentry, construction, welding, and many others. We offer a vocational diploma to those who choose it, as well as GED classes and ACT and SAT preparation.
We offer professional counseling in a relaxed atmosphere, believing that boys who feel comfortable will take counseling more seriously. We also provide pastoral counseling in group and individual settings. Boys attend church services, participate in daily devotional times, and watch staff live out a relationship with God. Boys become part of the family here and receive mentorship and instruction through the course of everyday activities.
At Master’s Ranch and Christian Academy, we love your boy like our own, and we fight hard for him. We work closely with you, the parents, to improve the home situation at the same time that we work for transformation in your son’s life.
A Christian Boarding School with a Listening Ear and a Voice of Truth
If your son has been getting into trouble, he needs someone trustworthy who will listen to him without judgment. MRCA offers counseling throughout the week, both one-on-one and also in a group setting. In addition, our staff engage the boys as a friend they can talk to, making therapy unthreatening and ongoing in the boy’s own natural environment while they work or play. Throughout their stay, we maintain a watchful eye, but we do so while surrounding them with loving care, inspiring them toward a personal relationship with God.
A Ranch Where Self-Respect and Confidence is Learned through Accomplishment
Our Christian boarding school is unique in that it provides extensive “hands-on” vocational experience for the boys as they also work on the ranch. They work with the ranch animals, tools and equipment and learn other skills and character-building that is needed for a successful future. Boys have daily tasks, through which they learn responsibility and a sense of pride. They learn a variety of trades, building new confidence, respect for themselves and others, and a strong work ethic.
