Hebron Academy (Maine)
Located in Hebron, Maine, Hebron Academy is a private co-ed boarding school, and day school, that sits on over 1500 rolling acres just beyond the east side of the White Mountains in Hebron. Founded in 1804, the school has an enrollment of 256 students, with 64% of those being on financial aid. Known as the Lumberjacks, Hebron Academy has offered sports since 1862 when they played their first baseball game. Today, Hebron Academy offers 14 sports, including: baseball, basketball, lacrosse, soccer, track, tennis, cross county, football, and golf. With their Maine location, sports can get tough to play outside in inadequate conditions. Opened in 2008, Hebron Academy has a 54,000 square foot Athletic Center hosting indoor sports, among them are basketball and tennis. The facility also offers a fully-equipped fitness center and an elevated track.
Hebron Academy has a rolling admissions process, with application deadline as February 1. They have a 65% acceptance rate, and requires a SSAT score.
