Brandon Hall School (Georgia)
Brandon Hall School is located in Atlanta, and it is the only school in Georgia that is coeducational and independent. It is known to serve students who are attending grade six to 12. It can be found in a forested area that is along the famous Chattahoochee River in Atlanta. The school is known to offer a broad range of arts and athletic based opportunities to students, and it is also known to provide a wide variety of travel and cultural experiences. Brandon Hall School was formerly established as a proprietary tutorial school by Theodore Hecht in 1959. It later got recognition from the Department of Education of the United States of America as a Blue Ribbon School. The school offers a curriculum that is based on technology, engineering, science, art, and mathematics fields. Brandon Hall School has various departments, and the fine arts department does provide lessons in painting and drawing, printmaking, drama, dance, mixed media sculpture, technical theater, and integrated fine arts among many others. Various sporting activities are offered that include soccer, volleyball, wrestling, tennis, and cross country. The school provides club and other extra curriculum activities. The students are given an opportunity to travel both locally and abroad.
