The Vanguard School is a unique boarding school located in Lake Wales, Florida. The Vanguard School specializes in creating an environment that targets each student’s individually exclusive educational needs. Students with specific learning differences are able to get the education and the academic attention they deserve at Vanguard. The Vanguard School’s exemplary campus is full of extracurricular activities for students with varied interests. Some students enjoy playing beach volleyball or going on a canoe adventure, while others find solace in joining one of Vanguard’s many clubs including Cooking Club, Movie Club, and Shakespeare Club. The Vanguard School has a strong athletic program and competes with other area schools. Basketball, volleyball, swimming, and soccer are among some of the athletic teams students may join. The Vanguard School stands out amongst boarding schools with the offering of school vehicles to take students off-campus for activities such as going to an Orlando Magic basketball game, shopping, or to the movies. Vanguard provides a stellar student experience with its many campus amenities and field trips. The campus provides educational programs for full-time boarding students and day students. The application process is easy and financial aid is limitedly available to those students who qualify.
