Westminster is a school for high school students and it is located Simsbury, Connecticut. The facility is actually a private boarding school that enrolls students within grades 9 – 12. Westminster School offers students a wide variety of courses and activities. However, they put the emphasis on athletics. Athletic programs at Westminster are designed to give students physical training and conditioning; more importantly they are necessary for building character that will be needed in life. Various sporting teams are available at Westminster and they include basketball, football, soccer, hockey, squash, tennis, track and field and swimming. Most team sports at Westminster are for girls and boys. Football, is the only exception. Students who join a sports team at this school will learn about teamwork, friendship and will be able to learn or develop their leadership skills. Students will have opportunities to compete with other teams within leagues and they will also get to train in state of the art facilities with equipment. Westminster School sports are an excellent program choice to help make students well rounded individuals.
