Situated on an 150 acre campus surrounded by wilderness the school features a 1 to 8 teacher student ratio and typically enrolls under 50 students. Founded by outdoorsman Lowell Whiteman in 1957, The Steamboat Mountain School features class sizes ranging from 12 to 3, and provides an individualized educational experience to its entire student body.
