The Orme School of Arizona is a co-education boarding and day school located in Spring Valley, Arizona. Its 365 acres campus has numerous facilities for students who love outdoors. Almost 33 percent of the student body comprises of international students who are attracted to Orme due to its popular extra-curricular activities and English language learning program.
The original campus is more than 100 years old, therefore modern architecture is designed to blend with the old and rustic surrounding of the school. In fact, its high-tech facilities including the computer lab is among the best examples of retro-modern design anywhere in the United States.
To enhance creativity, all students are exposed to skilled and non-skilled art in the middle of Sonoran Dessert of the Southwest. In fact, concepts of sustainability are integrated in the curriculum by encouraging students to participate in school’s conservation efforts.
Besides outdoor, the school is also popular for its Football and Basketball teams, which regularly dominate local competitions. For Equestrian and Rodeo enthusiasts, Orme School takes pride in offering one of the best Equestrian facilities including a riding club, extensive horse trails and school mentor-ship program tailored specifically for students, free of cost. However, all major US sports are equally represented.
